The Data is collected and/or processed at the Owner’s/Event Organizer’s websites, platforms, operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the collecting and processing are located (including but not limited to: 3rd party/partner/event premises, indoor or outdoor facilities, event venues, conference halls, halls, front desks, reception/registration desks, exhibition stands, receptions, event reception, amphitheater, lecture rooms, class rooms or any similar premises, location(s) or organizational areas owned, managed, rented, leased or co-operated/co-managed by the Organizer and/or his partners.)

By buying, registering or using a digital entry pass (e-pass code/e-tag/e-badge/e-wristband etc) provided by the Digital Pass/Pass code/E-tag Provider, You consent to the disclosure of Your personal data to such Pass Provider, including Your name, email address, company, and job title. If You wish to exercise any data protection rights with regard to how a Pass Provider processes or uses Your personal data, You must do so directly with such Pass Provider.
An organizer, exhibitor, partner, sponsor or other third party (collectively “Event Partners”) at the Event may wish to scan Your e-ticket/pass/tag/badge/visit card/QR code so they can contact You with more information. Third party lead management service providers may provide badge scanning services to Event Partners/Organizer/Sponsors who purchase this service.
The aforementioned categories of data may be processed for purposes including but not limited to:
(a) Execution of contractual obligations regarding event attendance, scheduling, and administration
(b) Logistical communications regarding event changes, updates, and participation guidance
(c) Integration of Participants within curated networking tools, digital matchmaking platforms, and investment channels
(d) Compilation and dissemination of promotional, archival, or investor-focused publications, including digital profiles and summaries
(e) Distribution of post-event communications, such as newsletters, summaries, recordings, or strategic partner outreach materials

By engaging with the Event through digital registration, digital pass or e – registration and/or assessment platform subscription purchase, verbal or written confirmation, or active participation, the Participant consents unequivocally to the processing activities delineated herein. The Organizer reserves the right to assert and rely upon legitimate interests, provided such interests are not overridden by the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.
6.1 The Organizer may disclose, transmit, or otherwise communicate personal or professional information to third-party entities including, but not limited to:
(a) Accredited venture capital firms, angel investors, and institutional funders
(b) Strategic event partners, corporate exhibitors, and publicly acknowledged sponsors
(c) Accelerator programs, innovation hubs, and ecosystem-building organizations
6.2 Subject to applicable law, such disclosures may be performed with or without additional notice to the Participant and may encompass resale, sublicensing, or onward transfer for the purposes of:
(a) Enabling deal flow generation and startup-investor matchmaking
(b) Supporting regional ecosystem mapping and visibility initiatives
(c) Enhancing the Sponsor/Partner ROI via lead generation tools and promotional databases
6.3 The Organizer shall not disclose any government-issued identifiers, passwords, or banking credentials without separate, express, written consent of the data subject.
You agree to carry Your government issued photo identification in the form of a passport or EU/ national ID card with You at all times during the Event.
You will be required to produce such identification upon request. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all personal data provided while registering for the Event.
Failure to enter accurate data may result in adverse consequences, including but not limited to, Your failure to receive critical information and the inability to reset account passwords. OTC/Ogranizer is not liable for any damages that may result from the submission of incomplete or inaccurate information.
Your digital pass or e-pass code is personal to You. Sale of Event digital passes/pass codes/e-tags/platform subscriptions (plans) other than directly from the Organiser is strictly prohibited. If an invitation code was given to You by an exhibitor, sponsor, advertiser, or other party who properly acquired the pass from OTC (the “Pass/Pass code/E-tag/E-badge Provider”), that code is personal to You, and cannot be sold, gifted, published, or otherwise transferred without express permission of the Organiser.
You agree you will not sell your pass, purchase a pass from any person or entity other than the Organiser, publish/distribute any code such that others may use it without appropriate authorization, or in any way work to facilitate access (including Your own) to the Event by unauthorized means.
By registering using a pass provided by the Pass Provider, You consent to the disclosure of Your personal data to such Pass Provider, including Your name, email address, company, and job title. If You wish to exercise any data protection rights with regard to how a Pass Provider processes or uses Your personal data, You must do so directly with such Pass Provider.
Registering for and attending the Event does not grant You any rights to use the OTC name, logos or trademarks.
The Services and materials provided by registering and attending the Event, including all images, designs, photographs, writings, graphs, data, or otherwise are OTC property and are protected by international copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other proprietary rights.
An exhibitor, partner, sponsor or other third party (collectively “Event Partners”) at the Event may wish to scan Your badge so they can contact You with more information. Third party lead management service providers provide badge scanning services to Event Partners who purchase this service.
You are consenting to provide them with Your contact information. The moment You allow Your badge to be scanned You engage in a direct relationship with the Event Partners and thereafter the Event Partner may contact you, subject to their respective data collection policies and practices. If You do not wish an Event Partner to contact You in the future, or wish to exercise Your rights of access, deletion, rectification or portability, please communicate this directly with the Event Partner at the Event or thereafter.
A list of Event Partners is located here. You are fully in control of Your data and only Event Partners that You expressly authorise to scan Your badge will receive Your contact information.
The contact information contained in Your printed or digital encoded badge is limited to the following information You provide at registration: First Name, Last Name, Company, Job title, Address, City, State/Province, Country, Postcode, Email, Mobile Phone Number, Company Industry Type, Your Area of Responsibility, Job Function and Your Areas of Interest.
You may receive personal and contact information from attendees and exhibitors that is voluntarily provided to You or otherwise obtained in accordance with applicable law.
You cannot sell any of this information and must comply with any restrictions placed on the use of such information.
By attending this Event, You agree that, without the prior written consent of the Organiser:
(i) You will not bring into the Event venue any equipment for the purpose of recording or broadcasting sounds or images for any purpose other than a private non-commercial purpose (and any such equipment may be confiscated by the Organiser and any recordings made destroyed);
(ii) You will not make any recording or take any photographs for any purpose;
(iii) You will not publish, licence or in any way disseminate recordings or photographs taken within the Event venue of any persons or material.
You consent to OTC / Startup Ohrid and its authorised third parties making and storing recordings of You, Your image, Your voice and likeness by any means (the “Recordings”) without compensation of any kind to You.
You release OTC / Startup Ohrid, its affiliates, and its authorised third parties from any and all claims and causes of action You may have now or in the future including but not limited to defamation, invasion of the right of privacy, publicity or personality, copyright or trademark infringement and unfair competition, and agree not to institute any legal action based on any grounds whether or not specified in this section.
You agree that OTC / Startup Ohrid, or the applicable third party, is the copyright owner of the Recordings, and is not obligated to use the Recordings. All the rights granted to the Organiser by You hereunder are irrevocable and perpetual, and You waive all rights to any equitable relief in connection with the Terms set forth herein. To exercise Your data subject rights with respect to third parties’ recordings, You must contact that third party directly.
Ohrid Tech City has taken every care in the preparation of content of this website, in particular to ensure that attendee/speaker/agenda info and prices quoted are correct at time of publishing and all the Services have been fairly described. However, orders/registrations will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description of the goods and/or services or their prices as advertised on Ohrid Techathlon’s web site.

The Organiser expressly disclaims any liability or responsibility for usage of, implementation of, impact from, or communications of the ideas or discussions presented by any attendee, speaker or other participant at the Event.
The Organizer does not guarantee any privacy protection nor does it assume any liability if someone’s privacy is violated or violated during the event. The event is of an open type and each participant is required to make their own efforts to protect and guarantee their privacy and the data they share/exchange (make physically, verbally or digitally available) with/to other participants of the event.
By participating in the Event, Participants consent to the Organizer and its authorized representatives capturing, processing, and publishing photographic, videographic, and audio recordings. These media assets may be used globally, without limitation, across marketing materials, broadcast channels, podcasts, printed publications, and third-party media.
The Organizer employs state-of-the-art access control systems, SSL encryption, and restricted internal access procedures for the safeguarding of collected data. Retention periods shall be limited to a maximum of twelve (12) months post-Event unless statutory, contractual, or operational imperatives necessitate prolonged storage.
Participants, as defined by Article 4(1) of the GDPR, retain the right to:

This implies that the data relating to the debt may be communicated to third party companies duly authorized by law and responsible for managing the default of monetary obligations. Ohrid Region Startup Observatory initiative/project.If you have registered for this initiative/project, your personal data will be processed in order to create a directory of StartUps. For this purpose, you will have to fill in a form with certain personal data. However, such personal data will only be processed for the purpose of managing your participation in the initiative/project and will not be published in the directory. Only non-personal information will be published in the directory.
Ohrid Tech City/Startup Ohrid and Innovative eco-system initiative/project. Provided that you have registered for the initiative/project, your personal data will be processed in order to put you in contact with industrial sectors that may be of interest to your Startup/Company/ Organization. For this purpose, you must fill out a specific form for this initiative/project, whose information will be processed for the purpose of managing your participation in the project.

By engaging in any of Ohrid Tech City event(s) or project(s), either through digital registration, digital pass or e – registration and/or assessment platform subscription purchase, OTC subscription/membership plan purchase, verbal or written confirmation, or active participation, the Participant/User consents unequivocally to the processing activities delineated herein. The Organizer reserves the right to assert and rely upon legitimate interests, provided such interests are not overridden by the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.

15.3 The Organizer shall not disclose any government-issued identifiers, passwords, or banking credentials without separate, express, written consent of the data subject.
By participating in any of Ohrid Tech City event(s) or project(s, Participants consent to the Organizer and its authorized representatives capturing, processing, and publishing photographic, videographic, and audio recordings. The Organizer employs state-of-the-art access control systems, SSL encryption, and restricted internal access procedures for the safeguarding of collected data.
