The Tasks and Challenges eligibility
Newbies are fresh starters discovering their talents and shaping their identity. Whether you are a student, dreamer, or aspiring entrepreneur, this is where your journey begins.
Ohrid Techathlon’s Ideathlon (day 1) sets the stage for exhilarating and innovative challenges, focusing on tackling specific problem statements (ideas) across diverse domains. Participants will engage with a wide array of challenges, encouraging creative thinking and the development of practical, real-world solutions.
It is aimed for ‘Inspiring Young Minds’ and fresh starters willing to discover their talents and shape their identity. Participants at Ideathlon are encouraged to answer the given problem statements and if they do, they have the option to get their project judged with the possibility of moving on to the next level > Tech Hackathon (next day).
Participants will have the opportunity to explore various themes, including Web Development, Creative Design, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Sustainability, Game Development, Healthcare, Education, FinTech, and more. The challenge welcomes students from diverse academic backgrounds, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and teamwork.
Over the course of the (3-4)24-hour challenge based mini-competition accompanied by workshops and learning by doing mentorship, participants will benefit from mentorship by experienced professionals, gaining valuable guidance and insights to refine their ideas and projects. Networking opportunities will abound, allowing participants to connect with peers, mentors, and potential employers from the tech industry.
At the conclusion of each themed challenge, exceptional (advanced ideas) projects will be recognized and rewarded, inspiring participants to showcase their talents and contribute to impactful problem-solving. Awarded participants from Ideathlon stage will be given a possibility to join and compete at the Ohrid Techathlon’s (phase 2/day 2).Ohrid Techathlon’s Ideathlon (phase 1) promises an unforgettable journey of creativity, collaboration, and technological advancement.
Doers/Builders Group is built for passion projects launch, and doers are ready to turn their ideas into execution, solving real local / global challenges aligned with UN SDGs and show measurable outcomes.
Tech Hackathon (day 2) is a 1-day sprint designed to turn ideas from concept to reality. It is an intensive designing, coding and agile development challenge in which aspiring entrepreneurs, developers, designers and makers pitch ideas, form teams, validate ideas and build business prototypes.Designed as an invention marathon, Tech Hackathon is a collaborative design, software or hardware development competition, where individuals and teams of hackers work for 24 hours to create a prototype or an efficient and representable product (Minimum Viable Product). Winning teams are awarded with cash prizes and exciting goodies from our sponsors.
It is aimed for ‘Inspiring Young Minds’, doers, builders and creators ready to turn their ideas, passions and hobbies into execution, willing to solve local / global challenges and excited to discover their passion for creativity, technology, entrepreneurship, innovation and business/venture creation.
